GCSHR is the Arizona State Chapter of the Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA), formerly known as International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR). PSHRA is the leading international community for human resources processionals practicing in the public sector, empowering public sector HR professionals to create better places to work for those who serve the public good. 

As the national association continues to grow and change, the Arizona Chapter is also making significant shifts  to ensure we are providing members with valuable resources and relevant professional development opportunities. Check back often for exciting updates as we continue to pivot! 

The Grand Canyon State Chapter is an affiliate of Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA), a nonprofit and educational organization, committed to the advancement of the public sector by providing HR professionals with key educational and training opportunities, valuable resources and assessments products, and effective advocacy at every level of government. PSHRA is comprised of four U.S. regions and more than 44 affiliate chapters that operate independently and provide members with professional resources and events and career advancement opportunities.

We are a valuable resource for all levels of HR professionals, from newcomers to c-suite execs!  We welcome all forms of public sector professionals, so if you're part of a special district, school district, city, county or state agency, we're here to provide the tools and resources you need to shine in your organization!
